Gagan Suryavanshi
Gagan is a highly accomplished banking professional with 20 years of experience in Institutional Banking, specializing in Global Financial Markets. He currently serves as a Partner at CXO Roles, where he leads the Financial Services and Private Capital practice, leveraging his extensive network and deep industry knowledge.
Prior to co-founding CXO Roles, Gagan spent a decade as a senior banker at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd (ANZ), where he was instrumental in building & growing the business for North and West India.
His career also includes a decade at global investment banks like Deutsche Bank, and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), advising corporate clients on treasury, risk management, and strategic transactions.
Gagan excels at negotiation, spotting opportunities, and managing complex relationships – shaped by years of working closely with C-level leaders.
He holds an MBA in Finance from IIM Indore and has been an active angel investor for nearly a decade, resonating with his passion for networking and closing deals.
Gagan is an avid photographer who recently turned semi-professional focusing on travel, portrait, and lifestyle as his genres of choice. Away from the camera, he satisfies his adventurous spirit with long-distance motorcycle tours and unwinds with a friendly game of tennis.
Vishal Dembla
Vishal is a talent advisor with nearly two decades of experience in Executive Search, Strategy, and HRTech. As Partner at CXO Roles, he leads practices across Startups, GCCs, and Acqui-Hiring.
Previously, he was Senior Director at PERSOL APAC, heading one of India’s largest Search & Selection businesses alongside Strategic Initiatives and Digital Workforce Solutions.
He also served as Chief of Staff at Ola, driving corporate strategy and Acqui-hiring, and held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank and ABC Consultants.
Vishal has partnered with 500+ leading organizations, placing leaders across the C-suite. He has also led Investor Relations at LetsVenture, engaging with VCs, PEs, and family offices.
A Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai alumnus, he has founded HRTech ventures, invested in start-ups, and is a Limited Partner with a leading VC fund.
In parallel, he experiments with AI – building tools and custom GPTs at the intersection of recruiting and technology. And, balances it with a love for racket sports.
